As a qualified therapist, I've also worked in the NHS, Broadmoor Hospital and with vulnerable children and families in Dublin, London and Bogota. I've also written for The New Statesman, The Huffington Post, The Telegraph, The Belfast Telegraph, The Financial Times, The Connacht Tribune and The Irish Times, amongst others. I've been a panellist on the BBC’s Sunday Morning Live show and have appeared on ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky news. I was a cross party advisor on Sudan in the UK parliament and worked with MPs from all the main parties, campaigning against the genocide in Darfur.
