Don't Let Them Die! Over 30 Irish civil society organisations and politicians issue Open Letter to British Government regarding Palestine Action hunger strike

DUBLIN: Today, Wednesday 14th January, as Palestine Action hunger strikers on remand in British gaols approach death, an Open Letter signed by more than thirty Irish civil society organisations and politicians was sent to the British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. 

Initiated by the Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign, signatories include the Irish Congress of Trade Unions, Unison NI, Irish National Teachers' Union, Teachers' Union of Ireland, Labour, Social Democrats, People Before Profit, the Green Party, Afri - Action From Ireland, Financial Justice Ireland, Jews for Palestine, Sadaka, and many others.

There will also be a demonstration in solidarity with the hunger strikers calling for the Irish government to pressure its British counterpart this evening at 5.30pm at the Dáil on Kildare Street, Dublin
